Under immediate supervision, serves as a data entry operator work involves performing computer support functions and machine commands; and supports computer operations and production by operating peripheral equipment.


Job Responsibilities

•    As a data processing operator, keys alphanumeric data from precoded documents; codes document information using clearly defined coding schemes; enters commands to bring up menus and forms on the terminal screen; verifies entries by re-entering previously entered information and correcting errors.
•    Performs computer operations support functions which may require the operator to enter routine machine commands; operates collators, bursters, drills and similar support equipment; loads and unloads printers.
•    Logs assigned work orders in and out; prepares production logs or reports forassignments completed.
•    Performs routine equipment maintenance, such as cleaning printers, and adding ink or toners for printers.
•    Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.

Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Applicants need to have the following qualifications:
•   English fluency and ability to communicate information in a clear, concise manner.
•   A minimum of 1 year equivalent experience.
•   Complete work requests according to client and in-house deadlines.
•   Work with pre-press and project managers to produce and manage projects of various scope and complexity.
•   Work with customers to provide alternatives and to understand work requests.
•   Troubleshoot technical problems with equipment and learn inventory system.

Applicants should meet the following physical requirements:
•   Multi-limb and eye-hand coordination
•   Ability to stand for a full shift
•   Ability to work in a fast pace environment/multi-tasking with organization and efficiency
•   Ability to lift up to 50lbs
•   Ability to work overtime as needed
